LAURA | Creative Director
Laura Atendido’s vast experience and solid reputation have made her name a mainstay as a top event planner in Toronto’s event industry. Beginning her career in 2005, Laura quickly became a ‘talent to watch’ when she produced Breakfast Television’s first ever Live Wedding, and was brought in as a resident planner on the SLICE Network. She is the namesake behind MUSE’s former persona, Laura & Co. Events, under which some of Toronto’s most memorable and impressive luxury events were produced for over 12 years. While her ability to envision and materialize creative ideas is evidenced by her extensive body of work, her acute attention to detail and passion for authentic project management is what drives and executes MUSE events behind the scenes. Laura’s honed awareness of the importance and value of solid client relationships is not only one of her clients’ favourite attributes, but is also what she describes as being responsible for the longevity of her successful career as one of Toronto’s best event planners thus far.
ELLIE | CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Ellie Eccleton’s eye for design and sharp sense of style are derived from her background as a student of Ryerson University’s revered School of Fashion. After graduation, she seamlessly forayed her creative skillset into the Toronto event industry. Shortly after joining the Laura & Co. team, Ellie quickly moved into the role of Creative Director, overseeing many creative projects and editorials as seen in WedLuxe, Weddingbells and more, in addition to her own client portfolio. She has now spent the last 12 years earning a reputation as one of Toronto’s best wedding planners. While Ellie’s style-forward approach to event design has been the catalyst for some of Toronto’s most stunning luxury celebrations, it’s her expertise in logistics and day-of execution that has allowed her to pull off some of MUSE’s most complex and high-end extravagant events to date. And although her past clients include celebrity NBA & NHL players alike, it’s her approachable attitude, at-ease confidence and creative energy, that makes her a favourite of MUSE Event Co. clients.
ASHLEY | SENIOR LEAD PLANNER
Ashley Yim joined the MUSE Event Co. team after 6 years at the prestigious Graydon Hall Manor, where she developed a love for managing and designing unforgettable events. Not only has she received formal training in Hospitality Management from Seneca College, but she also has extensive experience and knowledge in catering, decor, and event logistics and is fluent in both Cantonese & Mandarin. Ashley’s elevated sense of style allows her to confidently offer fresh and contemporary ideas on everything from wine pairings to tabletop decor. Her creativity and meticulous attention to detail have aided her in successfully executing over 200 events to date. From our clients' perspective, it’s Ashley’s ability to treat every event with an unmatched level of personal care that makes her such an invaluable asset.
KENDAL | LEAD PLANNER
Kendal Prinsen is the newest member of the MUSE Event Co. team and her focus is on Wedding Day-of coordination. Kendal’s eye for design, attention to detail and hospitable personality are what past clients have loved about her, and we are certain it’s what you will too! She studied in New York at the Fashion Institute of Technology, specializing in Fashion Event Planning. The training she received in logistics, last minute preparations and final styling details are incomparable. Her competence will give you the freedom to enjoy your celebration stress-free. Kendal has been pursuing a career in the events industry for the past 5 years, including experience starting and running her own floral and event planning company. Her experience, attention to detail and passion for decor and design make her an invaluable addition to our roster of top Toronto wedding planners.
THYRA | Lead Planner
After almost a decade of planning weddings & events within her own company, Blush Events, Thyra Chin joined the Laura & Co. Events team as a lead planner in 2013 facilitating all Day-Of Management clients. As MUSE Event Co.’s specialist in Day-Of Coordination, Thyra’s skillsets are headlined by her ability to navigate logistical obstacles with ease, resulting in seamless high-end event execution. Clients are often assured by her unspoken confidence and the down-to-earth kind nature which Thyra carries throughout her planning with day-of management clients. Having lived in the Philippines and Italy, in addition to Canada, Thyra carries her love of travel into her work by utilizing her vast knowledge in diverse traditions and cultures.
